Wildnet Group, a supplier of software and services to the commercial & specialty lines insurance and MGA markets, is delighted to announce new additions to the executive team. James Stokoe has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Gary Watts as Chief Commercial Officer. David Priestley and Barney Quinn have been appointed as non-executive Directors. These changes are associated with the management’s acquisition of a majority equity stake in the Wildnet business.
James Stokoe was most recently the Sales Director for the Broker Division of SSP Ltd. and prior to that has held roles as General Manager, EMEA, for Document Sciences (now part of EMC) and was instrumental in setting up the Sherwood International North American operation. James has extensive experience and knowledge within the global Insurance software market and has demonstrated a strong focus on driving revenue through partnership with customers. James comments: “Wildnet has over 15 years’ experience in this market and the recent commitment to ongoing investment in the software products and a renewed focus on our core capabilities gives a fantastic foundation from which we can grow the business.”
Gary Watts is an industry stalwart with a proven track-record in the Financial Services focused software and services industry. His 30-year career has seen him occupy a number of board level roles in both corporates and start-up organisations.
Barney Quinn has great experience in the global application software and Cloud markets. For 13 years Barney was an Executive Board Director of Sherwood International PLC and continues to act as a non-executive Director on a number of Fintech boards.
David Priestley is a career entrepreneur who has specialised in the Fintech sector. He has been the founder of 6 successful business start-ups over his 30-year career.
These appointments bring a wealth of technology, consulting and insurance market experience to Wildnet and its clients. It will ensure that the solutions and services remain at the leading edge of technology based on a deep understanding of the needs of our customer base.
