19.01.05 - Cooper Gay announces that it is the Lloyd‘s broker for www.cargoinsure.com, the world‘s first website to offer cargo insurance online. The site was built and is powered by Wildnet, a leading provider of business process solutions to the insurance and reinsurance industry. Originally launched in September 1998 it offers brokers around the world a one-stop shop online for cargo insurance terms and cover.

Over 250 brokers are now registered on the site, and well over 10,000 certificates of insurance have been issued through it. The majority of the business has come from the USA, but brokers as far afield as Asia and South America are also regular users.
