Wildnet Group has announced the appointment of Peter Presland as its new non – Executive Chairman as part of the companies continued expansion. As a leading supplier to the Insurance Market, Presland’s appointment follows closely on from the recent capital raising program to support the expansion that saw Alpine Risk Services take a significant minority stake in the company.

Presland has served for many years in Chairman and senior advisory positions with a number of organisations. He has most recently held Chairman positions with Vocalink Holdings (the BACS and UK ATM business) and Total Objects and was also a key advisor to the CEO and a Non-Executive Director of Ceridian Europe. He is currently also Chairman of Safe Computing and BenchStrength International. Presland has considerable experience within the insurance market. Earlier in his career, he was the founding CEO and later Chairman of Rebus Group PLC, at the time a leading provider of software and related services to the insurance market. Presland also spent 17 years at first as CFO and then CEO of C.E. Heath PLC, a major international insurance group.
