12.06.01 - inreon today announced Wildnet, a subsidiary of Benfield Greig Group plc, as its chosen partner to provide online administration services for business transacted via the inreon platform. This development represents another important step in inreon’s drive to become the leading independent internet based reinsurance platform.

Wildnet will provide the total administration package for inreon, extending the range of services currently available. This will be delivered through a series of sophisticated interfaces between the inreon exchange and Wildnet’s established servicing infrastructure. The benefits to inreon’s members will be that not only can they buy and sell reinsurance through the exchange, but they will now also receive a full range of ‘after sales’ services, including premium syndication, accounting functionality and claims notification and settlement.

inreon decided to outsource the servicing element of its business to Wildnet because of its proven track record in managing internet trading platforms for the commercial insurance market.
