02.12.05 - Wildnet announced today that Marsh Ltd has gone live with its Wild Compliance system.
“The demands on compliance teams are growing all the time” commented Mark Birrell, Chief Executive of Wildnet. “As well as this being a fast changing environment, there is international, as well as national, regulation to be considered. Broking houses are looking for a solution that can support the complex needs of an international operation, but that is easy to configure, fast to implement and user friendly. Wild Compliance is designed to do just that.”
Wild Compliance has a number of key features and benefits:
- Provides a secure, version controlled repository for all compliance information and processes.
- Allows compliance initiatives to be assigned, tracked and managed.
- Rapidly deployed with minimal distraction to the compliance team.
- Easily modified by the compliance team as compliance processes and regulations change.
The Wild Compliance system allows visibility over processes and controls, and maintains a central repository of key documentation. It supports the monitoring and auditing of business processes in a structured and methodical manner with full management reporting at a detailed level. This gives the capability to extend and modify the system as regulations are added or modified.
The system is based on Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services, a collaborative platform with document management functionality, and an accelerator from Microsoft that was originally designed to support the Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. The accelerator has been configured by Wildnet to meet the regulatory requirements introduced by the Financial Services Authority in 2005.
