Wildnet was sold to a consortium of private investors and current management of the company on 16 April, 2004. Since the buy-out the company has continued to acquire a number of significant new clients.

The new website, powered by Wild Commercial, allows London and US brokers to purchase Professional Liability insurance coverage online.
The launch of Cargoinsure in 1998, Lloyd's first ever eBusiness system. It is still trading with over 250 brokers worldwide using it to access the Lloyd’s market for marine cargo insurance.
